We don't have fixed packages because every situation is different. Tell us what you're trying to achieve and we'll give you a straight answer on what it will cost.

Do you work with companies outside South Africa and Europe?

We can, but our main clients are in South Africa and Europe. Time zones matter for collaboration, and we've built relationships and understanding of business practices in these regions. If you're elsewhere and the project makes sense, we're open to conversation. Just know that our experience and network is strongest in these markets.

What if we're not sure exactly what we need?

That's why the discovery phase exists. Most people know something is wrong but can't pinpoint the exact problem or solution. We start with conversations to understand your situation, then recommend the right approach. Sometimes that's consulting, sometimes recruitment, sometimes custom development, sometimes a combination. We're not going to sell you something you don't need just to close a deal.

How long does recruitment typically take?

Depends on how specialized the role is and how flexible you are on requirements. We've placed people in three weeks and we've had searches take three months. We don't maintain a database of candidates, so we start fresh each time with targeted outreach. Quality matches take longer than blasting a job post and hoping. If you need someone yesterday and don't care about fit, we're probably not the right choice.

Can you take over existing projects or codebases?

Yes. We regularly inherit codebases from other developers or take over stalled projects. First step is always understanding what's already there, what works, what doesn't, and what needs to happen next. Sometimes that means refactoring, sometimes starting fresh makes more sense. We'll assess honestly and tell you which approach actually serves your needs rather than just generating more billable hours.
